I'm a freelance web developer and digital marketing specialist based in Lagos, Nigeria — building high-converting WordPress and Shopify websites for small businesses and e-commerce brands across the globe. I started Webwave with one goal: to give every business — big or small — the kind of premium digital presence that used to be reserved for companies with six-figure budgets. My name is Alabi Nasiru Olarewaju — but online, I go by Nasir, and the work speaks through Webwave. I grew up in Kaduna, Nigeria, the eldest of six, in a family where education was the only ladder we had. My first computer had less than 1GHz of processing speed. I still remember being fascinated by what it could do.
My journey into tech began through curiosity — then accelerated through a graphic design programme where I learned CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop. By 2019, my brother had already seen the potential in me long before I saw it in myself. I started web development training in 2021 and never looked back. Today I'm a Computer Science student at Kaduna Polytechnic and a full-time freelance developer building for clients across Nigeria and beyond.
